Rajinikanth's Promotion For 'EV'

Superstar Rajinikanth is seen very rarely in the public and whenever he is seen there is a huge commotion. He also rules the public pulse in a big way and has a strong impact for his simplicity and honest statements. So, when good words come from Rajini’s mouth regarding a film, that film is as good as a hit.

And currently it is heard that Rajini is doing his own style of promotion for the new movie ‘English Vinglish’. This marks the comeback of Sridevi into acting after a gap of more than ten years. It is heard that recently Rajini had a special screening of the film in Chennai and watched it with the cast and crew.

Kareena, Sridevi, Preity, Rani to clash at the box-office

It is going to be clashes of the beauties at the box-office. Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Heroine’, Preity Zinta’s ‘Ishq In Paris’ and Sridevi’s comeback movie ‘English Vinglish’ and Preity Zinta's 'Ishq In Paris' will see the light of the day around the same time only in a gap of few days.

‘Heroine’ is the most highly promoted movie. It is touted to be an award winning movie and Kareena Kapoor is expected to win National award for her performance but all will be decided when the film will see the light of the day on September 21^st.

After a long hiatus, Preity Zinta will be seen in her debut production venture ‘Ishq In Paris’. Preity is pinning high hopes for her production venture and keeping her fingers crossed. Preity has her own fan following. As she was out of the screen for a long time so fans will surely looking forward to her next release. ‘Ishq In Paris’ is going to release on October 5^th.

The charm and beauty of veteran actress Sidevi is matchless. Sridevi has set the silver screen on fire in 80’s and now that she is again facing camera after a long gap, her fans are going berserk. They are eagerly waiting for her comeback pad. She is back with Gauri Shinde, ‘English Vinglish’ and the film is slated to release on Oct 5^th. The film is getting good response overseas.

Box Office: 'Resident Evil' reigns at No. 1 with $21 million

Los Angeles: The fifth film in the 'Resident Evil' franchise is first at the box office. 'Resident Evil: Retribution' opened at No. 1 with just over $21 million, according to final studio figures Monday. Milla Jovovich returns to the role of the warrior Alice, fighting the undead in the Sony Screen Gems sci-fi series.

I am not setting any records, says Salman

Despite making and breaking his own records by one hit after another, actor Salman Khan says he is not setting any records as he believes in doing hard work which eventually results in good box office collections. Post his back-to-back hits - 'Dabangg' (grossing Rs. 215 crore), 'Ready' (Rs 180

crore) and 'Bodyguard' (Rs 230 crore), 'Ek Tha Tiger' (Rs 198 crore) - not only the audience but even producers are pining their hopes on doing a film with Salman.
 
"I am not setting any record. I work on something and give my best. Now that the shooting of  Ek Tha Tiger is over I am concentrating on every shot of 'Dabangg 2'. I do not think what the result will be, or what would be the TRP ratings of the show, or the box office result," Salman said.

After hits like Wanted (2009), Dabangg (2010), Bodyguard (2011), his last release Ek Tha Tiger had the highest opening day ever with a collection of about Rs. 32 crore. The film also created a new record for being the fastest Rs. 100 crore earning film at the box office. "All I try to do is give my best at that given point of a time...on that shot. So I give my best there and if that comes correctly then these things follow. If your work is appreciated then these things follow," he said. The 'Dabangg' Khan believes it is all about doing hard work as it yields results at the box office. "Like if I say a line which makes you laugh and now you are anticipating laughter you are not going to get it until and unless you say the line in a funny way. So basically, it is all about doing and enjoying your work to the best of your capability. If it is working today then good, but it may not work tomorrow," he said.

Meanwhile, after several seasons of reality show 'Bigg Boss' showing contestants fighting and hurling abuses, the sixth season will be a "family" one, host Salman has promised. "I get to watch all the episodes including those things that we can't air on TV as it is completely messed up. We can show only certain things. So I know who is behaving in what way. Little fights and all people do enjoy, but when it goes overboard it's irritating," the actor said. "People want to watch some nice things. And this time it will be a family show for the fact that we shifted it from 11 PM to 9 PM slot. As a channel, we try and put out as much decent things as we can," he added.

How Many Records Does Pawan Kalyan Gets???

The Forthcoming movie Pawan Kalyan is Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu is gearing up for release in next month. Now the dubbing process is going well. Recently the buzz is that CGTR movie got rights in Tamilnadu rights have been sold for a record price of around Rs.55 lakhs which is phenomenal for a straight Telugu movie in the state. Earlier CGTR movie got rights at Nizam area.

According to inner sources the film has done an exceptional business and, Rambabu has already done profitable pre-release business. Tamannah is doing the female leading role. DSP's first ever lullaby song launch by his mom

Devi Sri Prasad's 50th film, Damarukam, has a first-of-its-kind from the music director in his store.  In his illustrious career of hits, super hits and super duper hits, DSP never had the opportunity to score a 'laali' song, a must in films of every generation of Indian cinema. Fittingly enough, the song was launched by his mother.  DSP is proud about this fact and upbeat about the response to the song. For a star musician of DSP's stature, it is to his credit that he had the opportunity to compose different kinds of songs in his films, from time to time.

Denikaina Ready audio on Sep 23, film before Dasara

The audio of Vishnu-starrer Denikaina Ready will be released on the 23rd of this month.  The film will hit the screens just before Dasara, in October.

Directed by G Nageshwara Reddy, the film has romance, comedy and action in good proportions.  As we know, Vishnuparodies actor Prabhas in this film as compelled by his character and the story.

Three songs were filmed on Vishnu, Hansika and 40 other dancers between Aug 24 and Sep 6.  Prem Rakshit directed the songs in Europe and Thailand.

Produced by Vishnu and presented by Mohan Babu, the film has music by Chakri.

Bitten by dog, Anushka forced to take rest

Even after a gruelling schedule of her films like Damarukam in Telugu and  'Irandam Ulagam' in Tamil, Anushka Shetty never bothered to let her hair down. Instead, she took part in the shootings of her upcoming films, including 'Alex Pandian'. But fate had different plans it seems, as the actress is forced to take rest, after a dog bit her at a recent party!. "It was a pet dog of one of the invitees of the party. WhenAnushkasaw the canine taking in a tissue paper, she attempted to take it out. But unfortunately, the dog bit her," sources said. Anushka was immediately given first aid and was administered injections. It is learnt that she has been advised by the doctors to be on rest for few days.

Jagapathi promises treat for his fans

Speaking at the audio launch function of Shiva Thandavam,Jagapathi Babu said that the film will have his fans do 'shiva thandavam' in the theatre.  "My fans are worried that I am not getting good movies for the past couple of years.  This film will be a big treat for them.  I am happy to have worked with a good team," he said. He hailed director Vijay's good nature.  "His taking is always different.  He has got both talent and clarity.  We worked very hard for the movie.  GV Prakash's music will be a highlight," he added. Charulatha to release on Sep 21

A first-of-its-kind movie in India, Charulatha sees Priyamaniplaying conjoined twins.  If her very characters should make us wait for it with curiosity, the storyline is even more interesting.  How does it affect their lives when someone loves one of them?

Made in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada, this film is directed by Ponnu Kumaran.  An adaptation of Thai film Alone, this one is currently in post-production, and will hit the screens on Sep 21, on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi.

Mollywood actor Skandha is the male lead, and Seetha, Saranya Ponvannan and 'Vettaikaran' Sai Sasi are doing crucial roles.  The film has horror elements in good dose.  MV Panneer Selvam's cinematography and Sundar C Babu's music are touted to be highlights.

It will be released in Telugu by Geetha Arts.  "Some changes have been made to the original script to suit the taste of south Indian audience," said a press release from the production house, Global One Studios, the original producer.

The film has been made on a big budget.  For Priyamani, this is the most important project and a test to her talent.  In her last Telugu release Kshetram, Priyamani was seen doing 'karra samu.'  We will now see her doing even more interesting arts.

Life Is Beautiful - Movie Preview

Iddarammayilatho is produced by Bandla Ganesh Babu under Parameswara Arts. Devi Sri Prasad will compose the soundtrack for it. The movie has two heroines, and Amala Paul will play one of the two female leads. The makers are now in a search for the second heroine. The film would be formally launched on September 20 in Hyderabad and the regular shooting commences from October.

Chiranjeevi postponed Pawan Kalyan's CGTR music launch?

It was recently reported that Power star Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu is set for a grand music launch on September 21 and Megastar Chiranjeevi would be the chief guest of the event. The latest buzz is that Chiru has reportedly asked the makers of the movie to postpone the audio release function to some other date.

Earlier, Chiranjeevi had agreed to attend the music release of Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu on September 21. Hansika denies being in love with Simbu!

With back-to-back projects with STR aka Simbu and with both of them being 'single' rumors seem to have cropped up about STR and Hansika dating each other and the actor reportedly being head over heels for her.

It was said that he threw a birthday bash for her spending Rs 5 lakh and celebrated it in style at the Filmistan Studios and having a helicopter for his lady love to arrive at the birthday party.

However, Hansika denies them all as baseless rumors. "My house is located in Lokhandwala and Filmistan is just a 20 minute drive away, so where is the need for a helicopter?" she says. She, however, agrees that Simbu was the only star guest at the bash. "Simbu was shooting nearby for his Tamil film Podaa Podi and attended the party for just five minutes. We didn't invite anybody from the film fraternity since it was meant for just 50-odd childhood pals," she adds, dismissing rumors that it was Simbu who had hosted the party. "It was hosted by my childhood friend Tavisha, who is a tennis player and not Simbu," she says.

On reports about her and Simbu, she says, "These rumors may have cropped up just because we are doing two films. He is a friendly co-star but our relationship is strictly professional."

Well, we wonder if these are baseless reports about their so-called relationship, or the work of pr machineries for some promotion! The duo is currently working on Vaalu and Vettai Mannan.

Happy Birthday, Shriya

As Shriya grows a year older, she is only set to act in some more mellow roles.  In some of her Telugu films like Nuvve Nuve, Nenunnanu and Santosham, she delivered a treat but unfortunately, roles befitting her talent did not grace her.

It looks like the best is yet to come from her.  Before her next birthday, she will have proved a point through Midnight's Children, Chandra or even Life Is Beautiful (Sep 14 release).

Well, before everything, this week is so special for her.  On Sunday, she walked on the red carpet for the 'Midnight's Children' during the 37th annual Toronto International Film Festival. And later this week, she will be off to Japan to attend the premier of the 3D version of 'Sivaji'. "I am thrilled that Sivaji is releasing in 3D," she says.

On 'Midnight's Children', Shriya says, "It is a beautiful script and I had an interesting role to play." At present, the actress is playing the title role in Tamil-Kannada bilingual 'Chandra'.

She is doing a last generation princess in the movie directed Roopa Iyer.

Siva Thandavam Audio Release Date

The audio launch of Vikram and Anushka starrer ‘Siva Thandavam’ is scheduled in Hyderabad on September 11. Jagapathi Babu, Amy Jackson and Lakshmi Rai are playing pivotal roles in ‘Siva Thandavam’. Vikram is playing a secret agent who is blind guy and uses a technique called Echolocation to sense the objects. Audio of the Tamil version has been already released and gathered positive reviews. GV Prakash is the music director and AL Vijay is the director. C Kalyan is presenting the movie in Telugu under Teja Cinema banner and the film will hit the theaters on September 28.

తెలుగు వచ్చిన ఫలితాలే తమిళంలో వస్తాయనే ఆశతో అక్కడ ‘చిరుత్తై పులి' పేరుతో ఈచిత్రాన్ని తాజాగా తమిళనాడులో విడుదల చేసారు. మొత్తం 19 స్క్రీన్లలో అక్కడ విడుదలైన ‘చిరుత్తై పులి' చిత్రం బ్యాడ్ రెస్పాన్స్ సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఇక్కడ చిత్రానికి అట్టర్ ప్లాప్ టాక్ వచ్చింది.

అయితే రామ్ చరణ్ గతంలో నటించిన మగధీర చిత్రం ‘మావీరన్'గా , రచ్చ చిత్రం ‘రగలై'గా విడుదలై మంచి మంచి టాకే తెచ్చుకున్నప్పటికీ...... చిరుత తమిళ వెర్షన్ మాత్రం బోల్తా పడింది. అందుకు కారణం రామ్ చరణ్ మగధీర, రచ్చ చిత్రాల రేంజిలో ఆచిత్రం లేక పోవడమే.

ప్రస్తుతం రామ్ చరణ్ ‘ఎవడు' షూటింగ్ లో బిజీగా ఉన్నారు. వంశీ పైడిపల్లి దర్శకత్వంలో రూపొందుతున్న ప్రతిష్టాత్మక చిత్రం ఈ చిత్రం తాజా షెడ్యూల్‌ని వైజాగ్‌లో ప్లాన్‌ చేశారు. శ్రీవెంకటేశ్వర క్రియేషన్స్‌ బ్యానర్‌పై దిల్‌రాజు ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. దేవిశ్రీప్రసాద్‌ బాణీలతో జోరుగా ముస్తాబవుతోన్న ఈ సినిమా వచ్చే ఏడాది సంక్రాంతికి విడుదల చేయాలనే ఆలోచనలో వున్నారు. అల్లు అర్జున్‌ ఇందులో ఓ ప్రత్యేక పాత్రలో కనిపిస్తాడు.

రామ్ చరణ్ ఈచిత్రంతో పాటు బాలీవుడ్ మూవీ జంజీర్ చేస్తున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. అపూర్వ లఖియా దర్శకత్వంలో రూపొందుతున్న ఈ చిత్రంలో ప్రియాంక చోప్రా హీరోయిన్ గా చేస్తోంది. ప్రముఖ దర్శకుడు వివి వినాయిక్ దర్శకత్వంలో ‘నాయక్' చిత్రంలోనూ రామ్ చరణ్ నటిస్తున్నాు. ఈ మూడు చిత్రాలూ మాస్ ని టార్గెట్ చేసినవే కావటం విశేషం. ఆరెంజ్ ప్లాప్ కావటంతో రామ్ చరణ్ పూర్తిగా తన తండ్రి నటించిన సూపర్ హిట్స్ తరహా పాత్రలనే ఎంచుకోవటానికే ఆసక్తి చూపుతున్నారు.

Pawan’s CGTR Vs Nag’s Damarukam!!

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming flick 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' and Nagarjuna’s 'Damarukam' will be released with at least a week time gap. Earlier Damarukam was set to release on October 12 classing with Pawan Kalyan's CGR, which is slated to release on Oct 11, but now Nagarjuna step backs to compete against Pawan have decided to back out of the race to earn good collections at the Box Office. So, the release of Damarukan was postponed by a week (Oct 19) .

Pawan’s CGR starring Thamana in the lead role has completed the entire shooting rest of three songs to be canned is helming by Puri Jaganath and Damarukam, which is made with the highest budget film in Nag's career is being directed by Srinivas Reddy and Anushka is playing Nag’s love interest in the film.

Ram Charan, Ntr & Venky Targeted By A Star Flop Director!!

Who is now targeting the famous heroes is Ram Charan, Jr.Ntr and Venkatsh. He made films with stars and definitely he is a star director. But what surprises is his record of flop movies and still his way of signing top heroes. Meher Ramesh movies like Kantri, Billa and Shakti performed completely odd at Box Office, but still he is on big league and hence the flop star-director in caption.

Meher Ramesh is right now directing Venky - Srikanth starrer Shadow and is aiming to keep this flick in Sankranthi-2013 race. How come Meher is planning to counter them with opponents like Charan's Naayak and NTR's Baadshah in front? The inner source revealed that Shadow too over shot the proposed budget like Meher's previous movie. His scripts are not connecting well though he is giving much style to his visualization. Shirdi Sai sinks with huge losses

Nagarjuna's 'Shirdi Sai' under K.Raghavendra Rao's direction may have won the hearts of many for the sincere attempt.

However the film is making huge losses in overseas thus leaving its exhibitors extremely worried. According to reports many are making more than 50% losses.

Trade analysts point out that while they incurred cost of over Rs.1,00,00,000, they have gained only around 60,00,000, thus suffering a monumental losses of RS.80,00,000.

The film hit the screens last week. Keeravani scored music for the film produced by A.Maheswara Reddy.

Life is Beautiful - a record Telugu film release in USA 50 prints for time for Telugu cinema - Max centers full week for the first time

Life is beautiful is all set to release with highest number of prints in USA. Indian release is on 14 September and USA release will happen with premieres on 13 September. The earlier highest number of prints release was Julayi with 48 prints. The same distributor (FICUS) is going to release Life is Beautiful with 50 prints. 35 of these prints will be in digital format and 15 prints will be of physical type. Ficus’s earlier blockbusters Dookudu and Robo were released with 40 and 35 prints respectively.

Life is Beautiful is going to be the first film that is going to be exhibited for a week in most of the centers. For small centers like Albany and Nashville, a Telugu film will be screened in weekends, but not on week days. But, LIB is going to be released for full week in most of small centers.
