Perhaps one of the most soft and non violent communities that we see around are the Brahmins and they are quite a subject for the filmmakers in south. One director who is noted for that in Tollywood is G Nageshwar Reddy and this time it is heard that few Brahmin groups are having their doubts on him.
When Nageshwar Reddy made ‘Seema Sastry’ he did a lot of comedy on Brahmins. Just like Sardarjis in north, the Brahmins are often subjected to humour in south cinema. Nageshwar Reddy took the liberty in a similar way and did many stints. And now it is heard that few Brahmin groups are looking forward to Nageshwar Reddy’s new film.
This is ‘Denikaina Ready’ which is hitting the screens on October 24th. They are waiting to see if Nageshwar Reddy has tossed more satires. As it is, all the Brahmin groups have come together recently to ensure a ban on the sleazy film ‘Woman In Brahmanism’. So, if ‘Denikaina Ready’ has got some sensitive stuff they will not hesitate to protest strongly this time.
